HOW TO CUT

Thin sheet metal use
neutral flame, use the undercutter (push), heat with 1/2 or no. 1 tip,
0 tip on oxygen, heat metal till red, pull oxygen trigger and start
cutting. Oxygen tip must be within 1/16" of metal once you pull
the trigger - watch the oxygen tip only - can drag tip on metal.

1/8" metal only - use
no. 1 tip heating. Use copper tip on cutting (oxygen) Can bump oxygen
to 6-8 lbs., if metal is running together. Oxygen tip must be within
1/16" of metal once metal turns red -- pull trigger and watch
cutting tip only.

Cutting thick metal - use
overcutting (pull)
3/16 - 1/4" oxygen pressure 8 - 10 lbs.
1/2" oxygen pressure 15 lbs.
1" oxygen pressure 21-25 lbs.
Acetylene 4 lbs. always use no. 2 tip heating -- use copper tip
oxygen.
Must preheat thicker metal before cutting. Get metal red (as it starts
to melt) pull trigger and start cutting. Watch the oxygen tip only when
cutting, keep copper tip within 1/16" of metal. Metal must be
warm (preheated) before cutting in different directions.
